Old 97s - Color of a Lonely Heart is Blue

Tune down a whole step

...............C..................................G
well the suns done gone dont hand me no light

.......Dm........................................F
the moon and the man will be rollin all night

C......................G..........................Dm
scorpios up a leading ol dan to pasture

and the hours behind are all ways to few
the miles between cant begin to undo
the feeling you will never see another like her

damn the lonesome ways and the young and foolish days
and the kid who made the man who'd leave you
with the sink of the ship, im going to dip into that hue
till i color me like i colored you

the color of a lonely heart, and the color of a lonely heart is blue
the color of a lonely heart is blue, the color of a lonely heart is blue, the color of a lonely heart is blue, the color of a lonely heart is blue...

stars go off like flash pot dots that spark under candle power and stop.
lift up your light cuz you'll never see a night thats blacker
and the weight of it all gets heavier still
time as it crawls a little slower until
scorpios up a leading ol dan to cancer

damn the lonesome ways and the young and foolish days
and the kid who made the man who'd leave you
with the sink of the ship, im going to dip into that hue
till i color me like i colored you

the color of a lonely heart, and the color of a lonely heart is blue
the color of a lonely heart is blue, the color of a lonely heart is blue, the color of a lonely heart is blue, the color of a lonely heart is blue...

Thank you so much for the Color of a Lonely Heart entry. I am a mediocre guitarist with a horrible ear for figuring out songs. It seems the chord progression changes up a bit during the chorus. Do you have any more help you could give for that area of the song. I'm sure it is easy enough for most people to figure out. . .but not for me. Thanks again for your generosity and great taste in music!
